Bourke wins Silverspoon
LAST Thursday saw the play-off of the Silverspoon final for the women’s 9.30-10.30 competition at Terang Golf Club.
The winner was Michelle Bourke with 30 points on a countback from Judy Carmody.
Michelle, who has been playing consistently, will now go on to play in the Victorian final later this year.
The winner of the women’s stableford and Marion Brophy round three was Margie Driscoll with 33pts on a countback from Jenny Meade.
Balls down the line went to Michelle Bourke 30pts and Judy Carmody 30pts.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Judy Carmody, 9th from off the green Margie Driscoll and 11th Jenny Meade.
Winner of the 18 hole all day stableford was Denise Kenna with 28pts.
Winner of the nine hole stableford was Wendy O’Connor 16pts.
Today (Thursday) will be 9.30-10.30 women’s comp, 18 and 9 hole all day stableford.

Last Saturday’s stableford event at Terang was won by Tim Keane.
Keane (11) 40 finished ahead of runner-up Daryl Johnstone (20) 36 on countback.
Balls down the line went to Mick Hammond (33) 36, Tyler Beasley (5) 35 and Stephen Arundell (7) 31.
Nearest the pins: 6th Tyler Beasley and 8th Stephen Arundell.
