Bertram wins at Timboon

JOHN Bertram finished on 35 points to take out the A grade stableford round at Timboon Golf Club last Saturday.

He was followed by Peter Cashmore and Chris Harkness, both on 34 points.

B grade was won by Rohan Johns with 37 points on countback from Cameron O’Flaherty.

Third was Darryl Neal with 34 points.

Nearest the pins: 5th Cody Noonan, 7th Chris Harkness, 10th Chris Huffadine and 14th Bill Finlayson.

Chris Huffadine also won a ball for his second shot to the 11th.

Last Thursday’s Railway View Chicken Day was won by Steve Kerr with 28 points, from Andrew Grant on 24.

Nearest the pin was Jack Rowe.

This Saturday will be stroke/monthly medal with registrations from 10am for a 10.30am shotgun start.
