Beard wins A grade
THIRTY-SIX players contested a stableford round at the Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.
Jordan Beard was the winner of A grade with 40 points, followed by Neal Simmonds on 38.
The B grade winner was Rohan Johns on 40 points, with Bernie Bourke the runner-upon 37.
Balls down the line went to Carl Horan, Simon Mahony, Nathan Moran, Kevin Duffin, Daniel Beard and Jeff Mason.
Nearest the pins: 4th Daniel Beard, 7th Greg Byrne, 10th Simon Mahony, closest second on the 2nd Neal Simmonds, and closest second on the 14th J. Lucas.
A reminder the Barrett Shield v Timboon is now on May 17 at Timboon.
Next week will be the May monthly medal and putting.
