Basket making proves a hit
CORANGAMITE Moyne Library Service is putting on some fun creative school holiday activities for children.

Last Wednesday children gathered to make Easter baskets at the Timboon Library, unleashing their creativity as they prepared for a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Among those in attendance was Mason Wood (6), Rochelle Williams (9) and Emily Stephens (9) who were all smiles as they got in to the Easter spirit.

The Corangamite Moyne Library Service is hosting Easter basket making events across the shire, giving kids a free day of fun to let their imaginations run wild through some inspired designs.
“In the free, hands-on sessions, children use colourful paper, stickers, crayons, and markers to design and decorate their own Easter baskets,” a Corangamite Moyne Library Service spokesperson said.
“The activities are intended to spark creativity, develop fine motor skills, and get in to the festive spirit of Easter.
“The first of the hour-long sessions was in Timboon on Wednesday, April 9, followed by Port Fairy and Koroit on Friday 11.”
Upcoming sessions will be held today (Wednesday, April 16) at the Cobden library from 11am and Terang Library from 1.30pm, and on Thursday, April 17, sessions will be held at the Derrinallum library from 11am and the Camperdown library from 1.30pm.
Bookings are essential and can be made online at collections.humanitix.com/easter-basket-making-activity.
