Alcohol, smokes stolen from supermarket
POLICE have appealed for information after the Lismore Foodworks supermarket was broken into.
Warrnambool Police Detective Senior Constable Wayne Ryan said two offenders were allegedly involved in the incident.
“The incident occurred at approximately midnight Sunday night into Monday morning,” he said.
“Cigarettes and alcohol were stolen.
“Entry was gained by forcing the front door of the Foodworks Supermarket open.”
A Crime Scene Investigation unit inspected the scene on Monday, with the door suffering severe damage
Police have called for any CCTV footage of a white flatbed truck in the area.
